Here’s a tribute to my friend & speedbag mentor, Alan Kahn. Alan is the author of the “Speed Bag Bible“, a must-have book when learning to punch ‘Bible-Style‘ or as they used to say….Fancy Punching (which I think we should bring back!).

Over 10 years ago, when looking for something new to add to my workout, I discovered Alan Kahn on YouTube. I was amazed at what he was doing on the speed bag! I’d never seen anything like it and thought it was something I could get into and enjoy…the rhythm just pulls me in.
Once I started, I was hooked, addicted to the bag. As I researched the history of the bag, it was then that I discovered it was invented right in my local area, Troy, NY in 1877! WHAT? WAIT?
That was it…I had to make this film.

So…Thank you Mr. Kahn for introducing me to a life-long addiction that is good for you.
